You can also buy upgrades if you want to at the end of a level. However, make sure you save some money to buy units or you will instantly get a failure message. Its the Qin Dynasty in ancient China. Your mission is to accumulate as much gold as possible in each of your own war campaigns to help the emperor build the Great Wall.
